WHY HAVE A WATER SOFTENER?

Limescale is the residue left behind by hard water. You may have noticed it on your kitchen surfaces, taps and shower. It also causes scaling in your kettle, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as inside your pipes and boiler. Softened water eliminates limescale and gets rid of years worth of built up scale, which will reduce cleaning time around the home. You will also save money on appliances and your boiler as they will work more efficiently and last longer.

Your skin and hair

The residue from hard water is a factor in many skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis and very dry skin. Some people notice an improvement in their dry skin with soft water. You will also use 50% less soap and shampoo to produce a much better lather, finding your hair to be shinier and more manageable.

COST SAVINGS

Did you know that investing in a water softener saves you money in the long term? With softened water, appliances last longer and are less likely to breakdown. Your boiler and pipes will stay unblocked, which results in them running more efficiently; saving you money on your heating bills. You also need less washing powder, cleaning products, shampoo and soap.

We’ve done the maths and you can save up to 53% per month!

INSTALLATION

We will install your water softener and use only the highest quality parts. It's small enough to fit under the kitchen sink, but there are many options to where you can have it installed in your home, even outside. It has been designed to work with all plumbing systems.

Using breakthrough technology, the water softener includes smart shuttle metering, which is designed and manufactured to cater for the intricacies of all British plumbing systems. From tanks in the loft to combination boilers and high flow unvented hot water cylinders, this water softener does the job.

SALT

Salt Blocks

Block salt is an essential requirement as it is used during the softener’s regeneration stage when flushing out all the unwanted minerals that it has removed. To keep your water softener running smoothly you will need to refill it roughly every 2-4 weeks, depending on how much water is used.

Please find our salt prices and order form below.

Smaller quantities are available for collection only from our shop.

Water filters

Pure, fresh drinking water for you and your family

A water filter removes odours, such as chlorine, and particles that may be in your water. It improves taste and provides a much cheaper alternative than bottled water or external water filters such as Brita, Replacing the cartridges is easy and only needs to be done every 6 months or so. A water tap is fitted to the sink and can be fed direct from the mains supply or after your water softener whichever you prefer.

We provide a range of filters and taps and a fitting service. Please ask for more details
